This is a pendant of the Hindu Deity Kali. The pendant comes on a corded necklace with a traditional, adjustable slip-knot necklace. The piece comes on a card with a brief description of the the pendants name and meaning. Kali is also known as Durga Devi (Mother Earth). She is the material energy known as Maya or illusion by which we all are covered. Durga Devi is the consort of Shiva and mother of Ganesh. Her ten arms represent ten kinds of activities. She teaches self-discipline and righteousness. We pray to her to become free from this material illusion and find inner peace.
